Ulcinj

Ulcinj is the southernmost city and the center of the eponymous municipality on the Montenegrin coast of the Adriatic Sea. Near the city begins the largest Adriatic beach, which is about 13 kilometers long and can accommodate up to 500,000 people bathing simultaneously. Additionally, this city is adorned by the Old Town and the proximity to Ada Bojana.

Sveti Stefan

This island represents the most luxurious resort in Montenegro. On Sveti Stefan, there are three smaller churches: the Church of St. Stephen, after which the island is named, located on the highest part of the island; the Church of Alexander Nevsky, and the smallest, dedicated to the Transfiguration, is located at the entrance to the small town.

Tivat

Tivat is a small town and municipal center in the Montenegrin coast, located in the Bay of Kotor. Settlements within Tivat and well-known bathing areas include: Bogdašići, Bogišići, Gornja Lastva, Gošići, Gradiošnica, Donja Lastva, Đuraševići, Krašići, Lepetani, Milovići, Mrčevac, and Radovići. Šavnik

Plav

The municipality of Plav is located at the foot of the Prokletije mountain range, along the Lim River. Among the culturally significant landmarks in Plav are the Monastery of the Holy Trinity in Brezojevica near Plav, Redžepagić Tower, the Old Mosque, and the Sultanija Mosque. Plav municipality attracts a large number of tourists every summer due to its lake and the many events organized in Plav.

Petrovac

It is known for summer tourism and a Roman mosaic from the 3rd century depicting the god of sleep, Hypnos. The city beach is about 600 meters long and is one of the most beautiful in that part of the Adriatic. Near the city, there are two islands, Katič and Sveta Neđelja.

Nikšić

The largest municipality in Montenegro, and the second-largest city in terms of population after Podgorica. Nikšić is the economic and industrial center of Montenegro. The Monastery of Ostrog, dedicated to Saint Basil of Ostrog, is located near Nikšić, nestled in a vertical cliff, and is a major tourist attraction. Mojkovac

The city is located in the valley of the Tara River at the foot of the Bjelasica and Sinjajevina mountains, and it belongs to the Hills of the northeastern part of the Republic of Montenegro, between the national parks of Biogradska Gora and Durmitor. This city is adorned with six churches, and the most significant cultural and historical monument is in the Monastery of St. George.

Kotor

Kotor is a city and municipality on the coast of the Bay of Kotor. The Bay of Kotor is one of the deepest and longest bays in the Adriatic Sea, often referred to as the southernmost fjord of Europe. The cliffs of Mount Orjen and Lovćen, which overlook the city, represent one of the most majestic landscapes in the Mediterranean.

Kolašin

Kolašin extends along the upper and middle reaches of the Tara and Morača rivers. It is surrounded by mountain ridges and peaks of the mountains: Sinjavina, Bjelasica, Komovi, and Vučja. The most significant local attraction is the Biogradska Gora National Park, located between the mountain peaks of Bjelasica. Biogradska Gora represents one of the last three primeval forests in Europe.

Igalo

Igalo is a town in the municipality of Herceg Novi. Igalo is known as a tourist destination, and thanks to the radioactive marine mud from the Blatna Beach, or as it is also called, the Old Spa, it is the center of health tourism in Montenegro. Although it forms a single urban unit with Herceg Novi, this is a town that can also be considered a separate settlement. It got its name from the same word of Greek origin, which means ‘coast – beach – shore’.

Herceg Novi

A coastal town located at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor and at the foot of Mount Orjen. This city boasts the most beautiful summer stage – Kanli Kula. An attraction for tourists is the Blue Cave located on the Luštica Peninsula, as well as the island of Mamula.

Gusinje

Gusinje is located near the border with Albania, at the confluence of the Vruja and Grnčar rivers. Among the culturally significant landmarks in Gusinje are the Church of St. George, the Aj Vezirova Mosque, and the Church of St. Anthony in Dolja, near Gusinje.

Cetinje

Because of its authentic architecture and a large number of historical buildings, monasteries, churches, and museums, this city has earned the title of ‘museum-city’. In Cetinje, you can visit three monasteries and even eight museums, with the most famous being the Njegoš Museum dedicated to Petar II Petrović Njegoš.
